BJU Student Ministry

For many years, Faith Free Presbyterian Church has sought to be an encouragement and support to students of Bob Jones University. Recognizing that many students have had to relocate, we want to do what we can to be a blessing to young people that are studying at BJU.

Many students throughout the years have worshipped with us at Faith FPC, joining in with our College and Careers (Sunday, 9:30am, see more info below), our worship services (Sunday 11am & 6pm), and have become involved in church music and various other ministries.

Fellowship meal
Every Sunday, after our evening service, we provide a warm meal and desert for students and young people in our church. This is always an enjoyable time, and we invite you to join us.

If you’d like to join us this Sunday we run a bus from the campus to our church. Our bus is white and clearly marked ‘Faith Free Presbyterian Church.’

Location: The gazebo at the crosswalk near Rodeheaver Auditorium.
Time: Approximately 9:10am and 5:40pm every Sunday.

College and Careers class

Rev. Armen Thomassian, conducts the weekly College and Careers class. Starting September 6, 2020 (9:30am), Rev. Thomassian will commence a class on Antiquity. A fascinating look at history through a biblical lens, beginning at Genesis 1:1.

Covid-19 Update

We were asked a number of questions from BJU:

1. Is your church sending buses this semester?

2. If you are, what are the times (Sundays & Wednesdays)?
Sunday: 10:40am and 5:40pm (Sunday School commences September 6, at which point the morning bus will be there at 9:10am).

Wednesday: not currently running, but will run the bus if we learn that someone wishes to attend and doesn’t not have an alternative arrangement.

3. Any restrictions on the capacity of the bus/van?
A limit of two per row, which is a capacity of 10 including the driver. If more space is necessary other arrangements will be made.
