David DiCanio

Rev. Dicanio’s involvement in missionary work goes back to his early interest in photography and video. George McConnell, the past chairman of the Missionary Council in Northern Ireland, and Presbytery Missions Officer, had seen Rev. Dicanio’s 10th Anniversary FPC Camp video, and invited him to Kenya to do the project, Mission to Africa.

After I leaving Denver in 2007, Rev. Dicanio spent three years in Kenya teaching in the BCFC Bible college. The following year (2011), the Lord opened the door to Liberia where he has been ever since.

Rev. Dicanio has been instrumental in overseeing the practical and spiritual aspects of the work in Monrovia. His presence has enabled the building of a compound, helping the local churches, and undertaking to have a Free Presbyterian radio station aired 18 hours a day across Monrovia and beyond.
