This December, step out of the rush and into a sanctuary filled with hope, joy, and the story that changed the world.
Our annual Lessons & Carols service weaves together Scripture readings and classic Christmas carols to trace the promises of Christ from Isaiah’s prophecy to the manger in Bethlehem and the cross and crown of our risen Lord.
Come hear the story. Come sing the story. Come rejoice in the Savior.
A Lessons & Carols service is a simple yet powerful portrayal of the anticipation and miracle of the incarnation of Jesus Christ our Lord.

01
Across multiple readings—from Isaiah’s promises, through Matthew and Luke’s nativity accounts, to the love of God in 1 John—you’ll hear the whole sweep of the Christmas story.
This is not a minor event in the story of redemption, but a pivotal moment in the history of the world.
02
You can expect a rich blend of congregational singing, children’s voices, choir anthems, and instrumental accompaniment.
The majority of the program includes the familiar and beloved carols traditionally sung at Christmas.

03
Stepping into a new church can feel intimidating. But our goal is simple: to help you feel like you belong from the first handshake to the final hymn. We won’t single you out. But you will be greeted warmly by sincere Christians and their families who will be delighted you are there.
After the final hymn and benediction, we will join together in our fellowship hall for a feast of delicious food and desserts. Just bring yourself—we will provide everything for an enjoyable evening.
The event location is very close to Haywood Mall.

If you are weary of a Christmas that feels shallow, come and hear the story of God’s love in sending His Son. Find a seat among friends and strangers, lift your voice to sing carols that have carried hope for generations, and listen as the Scriptures unfold the love of God in Christ. You do not need to be a “church person,” you only need a heart willing to hear God’s message of mercy to you.
Bring your questions, your burdens, even your doubts—and come hear good tidings of great joy. We would be honored to welcome you.
